Lead Web Developer
Livefront
- Led the front end team for Optum Perks and related web apps, delivering prescription drug discounts and telehealth. Ten-week contract, extended to 6+ years.
- Shipped the initial version of Optum Perks, a successful app for connecting consumers with prescription drug discounts.
- Built a monorepo, allowing multiple apps with shared components to be developed together and released separately.
- Led front-end team as it grew from 2 to 12 developers.
- Designed APIs and solved production issues working with back and front-end teams across three partner companies.
- Owned major code architecture efforts, including migration to the Next.js App Router.
- Onboarded and mentored new and junior developers for consistent code style and quality, and cohesive team dynamics.

- Created a web application for selling artist-designed merchandise to benefit political campaigns. Sole technical staff for this project.
