Work Experience
AI Full-stack Engineer
Consultant
- Built software for a public library with custom on-site touchpoints, integrating a server application, private LLM, and RAG pipeline for 300,000 books on fully private AWS infrastructure, ensuring compliance and intelligent content retrieval.
- Developed an internal performance tool for managing the customer's social media accounts, replacing the external agency's monthly PDF reports. The real-time monitoring solution enables tracking and supports the optimization of the social strategy.
- Designed and developed a custom AI-driven scheduling platform that automates course planning, optimizing instructor availability, participant preferences, and resource allocation in seconds. It syncs with Google Calendar.
- Designed and developed a crucial tool for company assessments, streamlining and accelerating the entire evaluation process.
Retool Expert
Freelance
- Developed a natural language search tool for an Italian startup studio, allowing employees to query their company database effortlessly. The tool enhances data accessibility enabling intuitive, conversational search across knowledge bases.
- Built a tool for a recruiter agency that uses AI to extract information from CVs and automate candidate management. It simplifies the recruitment process, from parsing CVs to organizing profiles, saving time and improving placement efficiency.
- Designed a tool for a financial startup to manage AI-extracted document information, focusing on verification and compliance checks. The system streamlines document validation, ensuring accuracy and reducing manual overhead.
Senior Front-end Engineer
Freelance
- Developed several data-driven and visualization dashboard applications, allowing internal big data explorations by financial specialists for one of the largest Italian banks.
- Contributed to UX implementations, refining interactions to solve user flow issues.
- Collaborated with back-end developers and data scientists to design the API infrastructure in order to achieve the desired performance.
Data Visualization Technical Instructor
TOP-IX Consortium
- Designed and developed a technical data visualization course, including exercises, prototypes, and step-by-step proofs of concepts used during the course.
- Taught and mentored an international and highly skilled class, typically PhD candidates, providing them with practical skills to create data-driven and interactive applications.
- Assessed the students' knowledge through interviews and practical tests to provide further guidance and advice.
Senior Front-end Developer
Idexè
- Designed and developed the front end of the client's eCommerce platform from scratch.
- Optimized the platform's performance over time with continuous analytical measurements of user access and interaction tracking information.
- Monitored and scaled the infrastructure during specific peak access periods to avoid system outages that would preclude user purchases.
CTO
TODO s.r.l
- Managed the company's production team—four software developers and three designers—at the crossroad of design and coding to deliver top-notch software solutions using Agile methodology.
- Led the front-end development of Arduino's cloud-based code editor, which millions of people use to program microcontrollers.
- Oversaw the development of a cluster of interactive software for exhibit purposes for the Enel pavilion in the Expo 2015 global fair.
- Led the design and development of a public, data-driven visualization dashboard for Nesta UK's Digital Social Innovation for Europe network (DSI4EU) project.
- Managed the development and deployment of several interactive software applications for exhibit purposes at Mozilla's MozFest 2016.
- Oversaw the development and deployment of an interactive application, Codemoji, for Mozilla in the context of a global communication campaign.
- Led the development and deployment of several diverse software applications for the opening of Turin's new Egyptian museum, Museo Egizio.
