Experience

JPEGS3 - Image Compression CLI and GitOps Deployment

https://jpegs3.com/
JPEGS3 gave me hands-on ownership of the full DevOps lifecycle, from build quality gates to production reliability. I implemented CI for the Rust core, including formatting, linting, testing, and release build stages, so every change is validated before merging. I packaged and shipped the web layer in a minimal Nginx/Alpine container, then delivered it through a GitOps workflow on Kubernetes with Argo CD auto-sync and self-heal, rolling deployments, health probes, and hardened runtime policies (non-root, read-only file system, dropped capabilities).

From a developer-experience perspective, I focused on making the product easy to adopt in real pipelines: predictable CLI behavior, benchmark-driven feedback, and CI/GitHub Action compatibility so teams can integrate compression without friction. This project strengthened my skills in release automation, platform reliability, secure-by-default infrastructure, and designing tooling that improves both developer velocity and operational safety.

Image Cooper - Local-first Image Editor and GitOps Platform

https://imagecooper.com/
Image Cooper is a local-first browser image editor for crop, annotate, filters, and format conversion/export (PNG, JPG, GIF), with optional AI features behind authentication. I led the engineering and platform delivery across front-end, back-end, docs, and production operations. In DevOps, I implemented GitOps deployments with Argo CD for dev and prod, containerized services with hardened runtime defaults (read-only file system, no-new-privileges, dropped capabilities), and standardized health probes and rollout safety checks. I also shipped CI/CD release workflows that build and publish versioned images, validate health, and promote tags between environments. This project strengthened my developer-experience work: modular JS architecture, clear environment routing, docs-first API integration, and reliable local-to-prod parity for faster, safer shipping.

UI VPN Client for Linux

https://github.com/gasilva-clgx/evpn1
A graphical interface for an ExpressVPN client.

I developed this project using Electron and Node.js, testing it only on GNOME environments. This project is packed and distributed as an AppImage file, but unfortunately, I am no longer maintaining it.
