Doser Unit Assembly Line

The assembly of a Doser Unit, a crucial component of BS6 truck engines for pollution control, features 22 individual stations executed by manual operators and Cobot Systems. The project utilized Siemens PLC S7-1500 with Comfort HMI and Siemens RFID for traceability, complemented by Siemens, Festo, and IAI servo systems. Cognex and Keyence vision systems were used to enhance precision. Laser welding techniques were leveraged, integrating ABB robots for welding tasks and UR Cobots for handling child parts. Finally, laser marking systems were implemented alongside Atlas Copco nut runners for precision tightening and TOX press servo for calculated pressings.
