I founded and shipped Tobi, a shared household maintenance app on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Mac. A household uses it as one place for the maintenance log, the electrical panel schedule, contractor history, and due-date reminders, with a permanent record of who did the work and when.

As the sole engineer, I designed the product and built the native SwiftUI app, TypeScript Cloud Functions, Firestore security rules, and the Astro site (gettobi.com) as one monorepo. Clients read household data directly, and rules limit every read to homes the caller belongs to. Membership, invites, and roles change only through Cloud Functions, which keeps a household from losing its last owner. The app works offline and syncs in real time, including in a basement with no signal. The panel mirrors a real breaker box: single-pole, tandem, and double-pole circuits, each labeled and flagged as verified, a guess, or known wrong.

I also integrated Sign in with Apple, Google, and email, RevenueCat subscriptions where the owner pays and invited members are included, push and email reminders, on-device maintenance suggestions, and Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight. Tobi launched on August 2, 2026.
