GestIB is the core digital platform used to manage the entire public educational system of the Balearic Islands. It centralizes academic and administrative information across schools, including student records, grades, attendance and absences, school and classroom data, and other critical educational information. The platform is used daily by schools, teachers, and academic authorities, and operates at a regional scale with high reliability and data integrity requirements.

I worked as a full-stack developer on GestIB, contributing to both the front-end and back-end layers. On the front end, I developed and maintained features using AngularJS, while on the back end, I worked with Java-based services. In addition to development tasks, I was involved in analyzing requirements, managing priorities, and coordinating new projects and enhancements to ensure the platform evolved in line with operational and educational needs.

I contributed to the development of a decentralized exchange (DEX), working across both front-end and back-end layers. The platform enabled users to swap tokens across multiple blockchain networks. Technologies included React for the front end and a NestJS-based back end. Over time, I progressed from front-end developer to front-end team lead, and ultimately to the vice president of engineering.
