The application was built using Ruby on Rails 3.1 with MongoDB as the database. Amazon S3 was used for storing hotel and product images, and Authorize.Net was integrated as the payment gateway.
My main responsibility was implementing the functionality to import locations and products into contracts. I also worked on validating the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring each contract correctly progressed through all 10 required states before being marked as completed. This helped improve data consistency, enforce proper workflow transitions, and streamline the online contracting process between suppliers and contractors.
