Project History
Compliance Tracking SaaS
I developed the Angular front end and ASP.NET Core back end with an SQL Server database. The application manages supporting files and related assessment information with organization and program access controls. Review and approval workflows cover every assessment item, while dashboards summarize progress and outstanding remediation work. Automated reporting produces specific required report formats, and a complete change audit trail preserves the history of updates.
Compliance programs can be maintained year after year, preserving their records and supporting information across assessment cycles. The result is a structured way to coordinate compliance work, maintain accountability, and prepare reports without relying on separate spreadsheets and manual document assembly.
AI Team Reporting Assistant for Microsoft Teams
I designed and implemented the assistant using TypeScript, Node.js, and the Microsoft Bot Framework. Claude interprets messages and extracts updated information, which users can review through interactive cards before submission. The assistant retrieves stored document content to answer questions and generates weekly individual and team summaries and monthly team reports. Scheduled check-ins support regular collection of updates, while Microsoft Graph and configurable SharePoint or Azure Blob Storage connect the reporting workflow to its underlying records.
The entire development and QA team has used the assistant for over 6 months. It gives team members and managers visibility into progress, highlights, blockers, and capital expenditure hours, bringing individual updates together into a shared view of team activity.
AI-powered Opportunity Discovery & Matching
I designed and implemented the application with TypeScript, Next.js, React, and PostgreSQL. Source adapters handle ingestion, while the processing workflow applies eligibility filters before AI scoring. Claude produces structured assessments with criterion-level scores, reasoning, and confidence. The application calculates weighted totals in code and stores results against profile versions, preserving the context behind each evaluation. A separate AI review flags potential conflicts for human consideration, and source health tracking helps identify ingestion issues.
I put the application into production for my own search for opportunities. It provides a repeatable workflow for collecting and comparing opportunities, with explanations that support human judgment when deciding which listings deserve closer attention.
Database Background Processing and Live Monitoring
Using SQL Service Broker, I moved that work into background tasks so modification queries could return without waiting for those updates. The process included automatic retries after failures and comprehensive reporting of status, errors, and recoveries. A Web API and SignalR supplied a live web interface for monitoring activity and checking the process's health.
I was the sole designer, developer, and support person. The solution was used by multiple large enterprise clients on databases supporting platforms used throughout their organizations and by their end customers.
Cross-platform Mobile App & 3D Viewer
Using Xamarin and a shared codebase across iOS, Android, and UWP, I built touch interactions to rotate and zoom models. Users could select hotspots to find part details and associated technical documents, connecting what they saw in the model with the information they needed. An augmented reality component also lets users place models in the device's camera view.
My work covered product design, development, and post-delivery support. The result was a mobile application used by manufacturers to give users an interactive way to explore machinery and its supporting information across multiple device platforms.
