Experience

Online Monitoring Solution for Automotive Vehicles

I created a solution for online monitoring and diagnostics of running automotive vehicles, which involved capturing automotive ECU data (over Bluetooth), local analytics, and secure communication over MQTT with the AWS cloud. Server implementation involved a containerized environment with a PHP Laravel-based server, MQTT broker, Lambda functions, and an RDS database. FSM and thread-based applications were enabled in the Android app, along with graph plotting (static and dynamic) and location-based processing.

Web Application for Managing COVID-19 Testing Exercise at the County Level

I developed a web-based app for a health agency.

The app involved the implementation of PHP Laravel and MySQL, audit capture of specific changes in the system, and automated mailing on workflow triggers. I created supervisor-based queued jobs processing. The DevOps portion involved GitLab CI implementation, scripts, and containerization for developer/testing/staging needs. The testing involved SQLite usage in the testing environment and basic automated browser testing.

Crime Monitoring Application for the Police Department

I developed a Django/Vue-based system for graphical GIS-based monitoring of crime data.

It involved Django-based REST API interfaces with the front end in Vue and asynchronous processing of reports being filed. The environment was containerized for cloud deployment.

Application Porting to AWS Serverless Infrastructure for Cost Optimization

AWS cost optimization for optimizing a scenario where an EC2 instance was used for a limited time.
