- After spending several years managing teams, I decided to focus more on my programming skills and thus created a start-up.
- One of first projects entailed developing a reusable component for accessing OLAP cube. Project required in-depth testing, so I made a testing suite to ensure integrity with unit testing.
- Several projects required analysis and optimization of business processes for major banks, insurance companies and government agencies. My role included development on Rails Front-end and jQuery for dynamic UX where needed.
- Gained major experience in RoR while building a public lighting management software.

Public Lighting System
Developed website that city of Zagreb uses to keep track of public lighting system. Programming was done in RoR, HTML5, CSS and JS. System has data warehouse build on top of Mondrian. Searching and indexing is done with SOLR server. Whole site is responsive and adopted to the specific end user needs.
Belltower Books Tracker
Books Tracking System developed in RoR and jQuery based od Bootstrap theme with SOLR used for search and indexing. Highcharts is used for graph representation. MongoDB is used in pair with MySQL Server for data storage.
The project was built from ground up in an effort to automate current business process. Exact specification was elicited during the build period. Customer vast domain knowledge was applied in the form of complex proprietary algorithms.
