Data Engineering Project Using Azure Tech

Built the architecture for a data engineering solution using Azure data engineering technologies such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake Gen2, Blob Storage, SQL Database, Databricks, HDInsight, and Power BI.

I integrated data from HTTP clients, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Lake Gen2 using ADF. I performed branching and chaining activities in ADF pipelines using control flow activities such as get metadata, if condition, ForEach, delete, and validation. I also scheduled pipelines using ADF's event, schedule, and tumbling window triggers.

Additionally, I created mapping data flows to create transformation logic with steps such as source, filter, select, pivot, lookup, conditional split, derived column, aggregate, join, and sink. I also created the log analytics workspace and the workbooks and charts from log analytics on the ADF pipelines. Then, I monitored the ADF pipelines using Azure Monitor and set diagnostics to be forwarded to the Azure storage account or log analytics workspace. Finally, I implemented the ADF analytics monitoring tool, including how to extend the capability further.
