Project History
Menutee: Menu Data Pipeline and Diet Scoring
https://apps.apple.com/ro/app/menutee/id6774607149Menutee is a live app on the App Store and Google Play that scores restaurant dishes against a user's diet, whether chosen (vegan, keto), cultural or religious, or medical. Behind it is a data pipeline I designed and built. It takes raw restaurant menus, reads them with OCR and AI, and turns the unstructured text into structured dishes and ingredients. Each ingredient is matched against a catalog of 7,500+ ingredients and 9,000+ aliases, then scored. On a multi-cuisine test set, 94% of scores land within ±15% of the reference.
ChessPlaybook: Engine Analysis to Plain English Commentary
https://www.chessplaybook.com/ChessPlaybook.com is a live chess site that explains any position in plain English. I modified the Stockfish engine to output a detailed breakdown of its evaluation, then built a rule-based pipeline that turns those raw numbers into structured facts and short commentary. Every sentence traces back to what the engine found, so the text never invents claims. The site also serves 40,000+ World Champion games, puzzle training, and live tournament broadcasts.
