AI Chatbot
A conversational chatbot using Python and some classic NLP techniques. It uses TF-IDF vectorization and cosine similarity to understand what the user is asking and match it to the right intent. No heavy frameworks or APIs needed, with just NLTK and scikit-learn doing the heavy lifting. It's lightweight, runs locally, and works well for handling common questions and simple conversations. A good example of getting solid results without overcomplicating things.

It is an open-source workflow automation tool. It lets users create and manage business processes with a visual drag-and-drop design, with no coding required. I set up smart forms and a plugin system to make it easy to extend, and handled both the back-end (Django) and the front-end (React) from scratch. The goal was to make process automation simple and accessible for teams without heavy tooling.
Technical Analysis Automation
I built a Python engine that automatically detects classical chart patterns in financial market data, such as head-and-shoulders, double tops, and triangles. It scans price data, identifies these patterns, and then runs backtesting to see how they actually performed historically. The idea was to take something traders usually do manually and by eye, and turn it into something automated and repeatable. It became useful for anyone doing quantitative research or just wanting to validate their trading strategies with real data.
RAG-based Chatbot Assistant
I built this chatbot to help university students get quick answers from PDF documents like course guides and handbooks. It uses RAG to read uploaded PDFs, create embeddings locally, and then use Groq's Llama 3.1 model to generate accurate answers based on the content. I used LangChain for the pipeline and Streamlit for a clean, simple interface. It's fast, supports offline embeddings, and gives relevant answers rather than generic ones.
