I developed an end-to-end automation solution for a UK-based investment broker to process investment plans from multiple sources, including email attachments, email body text, and shareable links from OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox. The solution leveraged Microsoft Power Automate cloud flows integrated with ChatGPT API and custom Python scripts.

The workflow intelligently detects input format, uses ChatGPT to identify shareable file links in emails, downloads files from cloud storage, and processes complex multi-page PDF documents. Using the PyPDF library, the system extracts text from challenging PDF structures and processes it through ChatGPT to extract approximately 43 required field values. The extracted data is formatted into JSON, parsed, and automatically written to Microsoft Excel business sheets.

The solution includes HTTP API integration for communication between cloud flows and Python scripts, with automated file management on OneDrive. This solution eliminated manual data entry time, reduced processing time from hours to minutes, and ensured consistent accuracy across hundreds of investment plans.

AI-powered Goods Declaration Portal with Document Management System

I developed an automation solution to streamline the goods declaration process for an import team managing complex document workflows. The initial Microsoft Power Automate desktop bot automated the punching of GD data from Microsoft Excel into Oracle ERP. Still, users struggled with 12+ document types (PI, PO, GD, LC, TC, vendor contracts, and bank documents) that lacked unique identifiers or relationships.

I engineered a Next.js web application that served as a centralized document management portal. The solution uses a proforma invoice (PI) as the primary reference for all shipments. When users upload documents, the AI Builder-powered flow automatically extracts data and stores it in a Microsoft SQL Server database. The portal provides a user-friendly interface that displays extracted data and enables users to upload subsequent documents.

The system tracks the complete document lifecycle, managing relationships between document types. Once all required documents are uploaded and the GD is received from the broker, the portal triggers the Microsoft Power Automate desktop flow to automatically punch data into the Oracle ERP. This eliminates manual document tracking, reduces errors, and improves user experience.

Automated PO Sheet Generation for Guess Europe | 95% Manual Effort Reduction

At Interloop Limited, I developed an AI-powered automation to process purchase orders from Guess Europe Sagl. Previously, merchandising teams manually extracted data from multi-page PO PDFs (including item details, size-specific quantities, pricing, and delivery dates) and created Excel sheets, resulting in delays and errors.

I built a Power Automate cloud flow triggered via email, integrated with AI Builder for document processing. The system extracts structured data from each PO page and automatically generates a standardized Excel sheet, storing outputs in OneDrive.
