Improved reporting of outcomes helps funders optimize processes and understand how schemes perform, reducing the risk and cost of fraud. Local and central government scheme funders are looking to efficiently disburse grants to the right people while improving citizen experience.

The UK's Department for International Trade (DIT) has signed a three-year, £2.6 million contract with Capita to use its GrantIS digital platform to distribute grants to businesses.

Capita announced that the DIT would be the first client to use the platform to distribute grants to around 7,600 SMEs to find help in new markets overseas.
