I automated different business processes for a payroll and benefits provider. I did this by automating sync between the external system and Salesforce using RESTful web services, thus saving on manual efforts for representatives to copy information from one system to another. It resulted in a 5% increase in time utilization of representatives. In another case, we scheduled Apex to automatically send forms to carriers, which helped minimize manual efforts.

I developed a custom solution to let representatives send mass emails to all the customers affected by similar issues on this project. The solution included a Visualforce page where customer representatives could search cases based on different filters, select the email template, and select cases to be emailed. They could send emails for up to 500 cases at a time. This solution saved over five minutes per case per customer, resulting in a better performance.

On this project, I designed and implemented a community cloud solution for a US-based non-profit organization to let its customers participate and educate themselves via Q&A. This solution also included setting up a customer community from scratch and making it public, keeping in mind the different security models and data visibility considerations for internal users and external community users.

I utilized CongaComposer and DocuSign to send a Power of Attorney document for tax filing to customers and get it signed. This automation ensured that POA is signed well in advance, eliminating wait times during the manual process.
