A paperless enrollment platform for ICI, Romania's national institute for informatics research, which runs around thirty accredited professional courses. Students browse the catalog, enroll, sign official forms on screen, and upload their documents from any device, and approved enrollments flow into the institute's records system automatically. I designed, built, and still operate the platform end to end. It runs on the client's own servers, keeps personal data strictly scoped and GDPR compliant, and generates legally valid documents from approved templates every time. Every update starts with a full backup and only goes live once the platform confirms it is healthy, and if an outside service is down, students continue on a manual path so no application gets stuck. Around a hundred improvements shipped in six months, each one tested before release.

An all-in-one management platform for WeCare, a Bucharest veterinary clinic caring for pets since 2005. Pet owners book online in five simple steps at any hour, and the clinic team runs their day from one place: a shared doctor calendar, digital medical records, supplier invoices, and doctor payment reports. I designed, built, and maintain the platform end to end, from the database to deployment. The booking system itself prevents clashes, so a doctor is never double-booked, even if two owners pick the same slot at the same second. Only invited staff can sign in, and the database checks who is asking on every request, so medical records stay private. Errors are monitored across the platform, so issues reach me before they reach the front desk. The core platform went from idea to launch in about one month.

I built GlowUp, an iPhone app for AI photo and avatar creation, where people upload a photo, describe the change in plain words, or pick a suggestion, and AI reimagines it in seconds. There are no sliders or a learning curve. I owned the project end to end, from architecture and UI to AI integration and App Store release. Uploads and AI processing run in the background, keeping the app responsive rather than freezing on a spinner, while the AI provider sits behind a clean boundary, allowing GlowUp to adopt better models without rebuilding the app. I built subscriptions, purchases, and App Store review requirements from day one, with Free, Pro, and Ultra plans. The app is live on the App Store, trusted by 10,000+ users, and continues to receive regular updates.

I built Nearby, my own app for chatting, group chats, and games with people around you, with no internet, servers, or accounts. I built it for the moments regular chat apps fail: on a flight, at a festival, or abroad without data. Phones find each other and connect directly, peer to peer, so there is nothing to go down. Messages travel only between devices and never touch the cloud, and the App Store privacy label confirms zero data collected. Low-energy connections keep the app running in the background without draining the battery, and chats resume automatically when people are back in range. It includes one-on-one and group chats, photo sharing, five built-in two-player games, and an invisible mode. I took it from idea and design to development and App Store release, and it runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision in English, Spanish, and Russian.

I architected and implemented a highly scalable application consisting of multiple microservices, a front-end component, and a cryptography provider. The scope of the app was to collect the data sent from the next-generation cash registers in Romania to validate the authenticity and integrity of the sales.

Collaborated with another developer on an iOS application that transforms videos and Live Photos into looping Home Screen widgets, handling media processing, widget configuration, and UI customization flows.

An MVP for a mobile app that was designed to facilitate loans between friends and family. I acted as the lead tech architect, and my responsibilities were defining project requirements, designing the user experience, managing the other developers, and implementing features myself.

I managed the development of an iOS mobile wallet used to manage user identity. The app was designed to provide a secure and convenient way for users to manage and verify their digital identities. To ensure the app's security, I implemented advanced measures, including biometric authentication and encryption, to protect sensitive personal information. I also worked closely with UX designers to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface for managing and verifying digital identities.

I contributed as a freelance developer to a stock market automation tool to make it more accessible to non-technical users. I was tasked with building an intuitive GUI and integrating all the features present in the console version of the app.
