Developed a very complex task assignment tool. Acted as chief architect on the project.

The project was for internal use in the company to manage and monitor employees' work and performance. It has multiple features such as task assignment, awarding points to the employees based on the task complexity and time it takes to complete, and creating complex reports based on those points.

I was in charge of ensuring that the project was being worked on with all standards, giving timelines, managing the team of 10 developers, and designing the architecture of different modules. Designed the whole DB architecture of the project. I managed the hosting and all setup on AWS for the project.

The project is a Magento-based eCommerce solution for AEDs and instruments related to AEDs, and the website was on Magento 1, so I maintained Magento 1 and migrated the website to Magento 2.

MY ROLE
• Migrated the website to Magento 2, managed the hosting on AWS, and utilized EC2, SES, Elasticsearch, RDS, Load Balancer, CloudWatch, auto-scaling, and Route 53.
• Performed multiple optimizations on the site related to the Google speed score, such as TTFB and CLS.
• Handled all front-end and back-end tasks on the site on my own and improved the speed of the site. I also made the site PSI-certified.
• Did all the front-end work for the project, like all HTML, CSS, and JavaScript changes. Also, I took care of all Magento templating.

A complex eCommerce website on Magento 2 with more than 50 stores.
Duty Free Americas is a big brand when it comes to duty-free goods at airports and borders. The site was on some Java-based platform that was not performing as per the client's requirements and expectations.

MY ROLE
• Helped build the website from scratch. The website was pretty complex because of the many stores and complex checkout needs related to flight data.
• Implemented MSI on the site to have multiple inventories of the same product based on the store. Integrated multiple third-party APIs to send to their POS systems and receive data for updates on products.
• Implemented logic to redirect users to the stores near them and the deployment process on the site and synced everything from the repository. The site is running successfully and handling a decent amount of users and orders.
• Worked on all the front-end needs of the client, like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Magento theming.

PROJECT BRIEF
An eCommerce website to sell AEDs with a lot of custom features.

MY ROLE
Migrated the website from M1 to M2. Set up a site on AWS EC2, load balancer, autoscaling, firewall, Route53, and SES. Enhanced the site speed score for both desktop and mobile on Google PageSpeed Insights. Built full back end and front end of the site and added multiple fields on checkout.

Magento and Shopify-based eCommerce PWA.

I was the back-end developer there and worked on integrating multiple Shopify websites (vendors) to the Magento store. Consumed different Shopify APIs to pull/push all catalog, sales, and customers from the vendor's Shopify stores to the Hearst store. I also worked on optimizing the website for the Google PageSpeed score. Worked mainly on lowering the CLS and LCP of the store.

An affiliate marketing tool for Shopify store owners.

I worked as back-end and front-end developer for the project. The tool was to onboard users who can do affiliate marketing and earn commission depending upon the value they bring to the Shopify stores. The tool was very detailed and had an easy onboarding process where users could configure their automatic payout methods (online and offline). The tool could allow the administrator to create multiple tasks for the affiliate marketers and a fixed/percentage-based commission on completing each task. The tool uses Shopify hooks to grab instant information about the orders and activities on Shopify.

A Shopify-based eCommerce store for selling CBD products.

I was the lead back-end/front-end developer there who was responsible for migrating their Magento project to Shopify along with other developers. The website handles an outstanding amount of traffic and more than 1,000 daily orders. I helped them bring all data from Magento to Shopify and also enabled them to transfer all their subscription customers to the new Order Groove tool.

A Shopify Plus-based eCommerce store for an optics seller. The project was enterprise-level, and the seller is an established optics seller worldwide.

I was responsible for developing a new store based on the existing data. I worked with a team there; we finished the store in record time. I was also responsible for enhancing the page speed score of the site. We used multiple 3rd-party apps for the enhanced reviews and product options.

Developed a complete creator–brand collaboration platform consisting of a public Shopify app and an associated web application.

The platform enables brands to create promotional challenges and collaborate with creators, while creators can complete challenges, place orders, and earn cashback rewards through automated refund workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Developed and published the public Shopify app.
• Implemented Shopify OAuth installation flow and secure token handling.
• Integrated Shopify APIs and webhooks for store, customer, and order synchronization.
• Built the web platform for brands, creators, and admins.
• Developed challenge management, creator onboarding, order validation, and cashback/refund systems.
• Created seamless communication between Shopify stores and the external SaaS platform.

The solution helped brands run creator-driven campaigns efficiently while providing creators with a rewarding engagement experience.

Developed the Shopify integration for Ideal Postcodes one-step address validation solution, enabling Shopify Plus merchants to improve checkout accuracy and customer experience through intelligent address autocomplete and validation.

• Implementing address autocomplete and real-time address validation functionality.

• Handling checkout UI integration through Shopify app blocks and extensions.
• Improving merchant onboarding and configuration experience.
• Troubleshooting theme compatibility and checkout-related edge cases.

The solution helped merchants reduce failed deliveries, improve address accuracy, enhance checkout completion rates, and minimize manual address correction efforts through a seamless one-step address lookup experience.
