Project History
Enterprise Data Warehouse
A cloud-based enterprise data warehouse that offers data as a service. I served as the technical lead for data usability and demo. My role was to design and develop data integrations and analytics on top of the data warehouse. I successfully delivered COVID-19 analytics, anomaly detection analytics, and 20+ reports and dashboards implemented by over six international retailers. For all these deliverables, I actively participated in the design of the data model as well.
Leading Health and Wellbeing Retailer in the UK
Served as a technical business intelligence consultant. Developed ETL scripts to load historical data into the data warehouse and over 100 report design documents for operational reporting. Created both operational and analytical reports for the business. Built a validation framework to validate data across different integration points.
Leading Jewelry Retailer (US)
Acted as the history conversion lead. Developed scripts for the historical load of data from their legacy system, lifted and shifted data from an on-premise system to Oracle's cloud data warehouse, and validated data against the legacy system after each historical run. Successfully delivered a golden copy of their five years of historical data into their new system.
Pop Culture-inspired Retailer (US)
Served as the technical lead for data usability and data demo. Participated in the implementation of data warehouse, implementation of Azure for ETL automation, migration of historical data from their legacy system, design, and development of ETL scripts in Python, and delivered over 10 reports and dashboards in Tableau.
Plus-size Clothing Retailer (US)
Served as the technical lead for data usability and data demo, delivering a full data warehouse implementation and migration of data from their legacy system. Additionally, designed and built 500+ metrics in Looker to enable ad-hoc reporting. Delivered 20+ reports and dashboards and conducted technical and business user training to familiarize them with Looker and analytical reporting. Delivered competitor pricing analytics which entailed developing scripts for web scraping competitor eCommerce sites for price data. Also, provided assistance in incorporating Google Analytics into Looker.
Home Decor Retailer (US)
Took the role of the technical lead for data usability and data demo. I successfully implemented a data warehouse and data mart for the client along with my team. This entailed designing and developing data models, data marts, ETL scripts, and analytical reports and dashboards. I also led the efforts to train business users with no technical background in using Looker and building analytical dashboards in the platform.
