I developed ondemand.studioverso.ca, an on-demand fitness platform built on the IPStudio platform, enabling Studio VERSŌ to deliver digital content and expand its offerings beyond the physical studio.

Key Contributions:
• Integrated and customized the IPStudio platform to support on-demand video streaming, class scheduling, and content management for Studio VERSŌ’s fitness clients.
• Collaborated with stakeholders to design intuitive user flows for browsing, purchasing, and accessing digital classes, ensuring a seamless extension of the in-studio experience.
• Implemented responsive UI components and tailored branding across the platform to reflect Studio VERSŌ’s modern identity.
• Helped establish an operational framework for content uploads and scheduling, enabling staff to manage classes and digital content with minimal technical overhead.

I designed and developed Studio VERSŌ’s Shopify eCommerce site, creating a unified online hub for merchandise sales, membership packages, and fitness program offerings.

Key Contributions:
• Customized Shopify Liquid templates with Tailwind CSS and JavaScript, delivering responsive, branded storefront experiences.
• Implemented custom navigation flows that connected Shopify with Studio VERSŌ’s Squarespace and On-Demand platforms, creating a seamless cross-platform ecosystem.
• Built interactive product carousels and optimized storefront layouts to improve discoverability and user engagement.
• Integrated third-party services to streamline purchasing, class bookings, and customer account management, improving operational efficiency.

Sonder is a modern hospitality company redefining the hotel experience through its digital-first approach. The Sonder mobile app has ranked in the Top 200 Travel Apps in the App Store and has been used by 500,000+ guests worldwide.

Key Contributions:
• Led the development of the guest-to-agent messaging platform, building both the guest interface (React Native, Sendbird, Gifted Chat) and the agent interface (React + Salesforce integration) to enable real-time support.
• Delivered core guest features including a reservation calendar, a redesigned “My Stay” screen, and mobile keys, improving booking flexibility and enhancing the guest experience.
• Collaborated cross-functionally with product and design teams to align features with guest needs, ensuring both usability and scalability.

A proof-of-concept project exploring how an iPad app could control a DNA sequencer. The app allowed lab technicians to:
• Monitor a fleet of sequencers in real time.
• Initiate and halt sequencing runs remotely.
• View machine operational status and diagnostics at a glance.

Key Contributions:
• Conducted user research and workflow analysis to define technician needs and lab use cases.
• Designed mockups, workflow diagrams, and interactive prototypes, evolving into high-fidelity UI and motion design prototypes.
• Recognized as a listed inventor on U.S. Design Patent USD810112S1, awarded for this interface design.

The NovaSeq is a high-throughput DNA sequencer and one of Illumina’s flagship products. I collaborated with software engineers and biotechnologists to design the platform’s user interface from its earliest stages.

Key Contributions:
• Served as UX designer, researcher, and product designer, shaping the platform’s initial concept and user workflows.
• Designed and iterated wireframes and prototypes, incorporating findings from multiple rounds of usability testing with lab technicians.
• Partnered with another product designer to craft the final UI, ensuring alignment with Illumina’s brand language and a seamless transition from wireframes to production.
• Recognized as a listed inventor on U.S. Design Patent USD965626S1 for contributions to the NovaSeq interface.
