I engineered enterprise-scale back-end services for the SMAX (Service Management Automation X) ITSM platform using Java 17, Spring, and Jakarta EE JAX-WS, backed by PostgreSQL in both SQL and NoSQL modes, Redis, and RabbitMQ running on Tomcat 10 for high-availability data management and messaging. I orchestrated containerized staging and development environments with Kubernetes, Docker Desktop, and Helm charts, automating infrastructure deployment to VMware/vCloud with HashiCorp Terraform and managing secure configuration through Vault.

I also maintained and modernized the automated deployment pipelines across GitLab CI and Jenkins, routing cluster traffic via Nginx/Ingress and enforcing code quality gates with SonarQube (SCA/STA). I maintained BDD and functional testing standards using JBehave, Selenium, and Maven Surefire, and served as a key code reviewer during the framework migration from JUnit 4 to JUnit 5, while mentoring mid-level and junior developers in local environment testing and deep troubleshooting.

I architected and scaled the distributed Ruby on Rails (RoR) backend behind a B2B parcel logistics platform, paired with a Vue 3 front-end and fully containerized local development via Docker Compose. I built the 3rd-party API integration layer bridging logistics, delivery routing, and eCommerce data streams, keeping external services synchronized in real time. Asynchronous, hourly, and on-demand workloads run on Sidekiq with Redis job enqueuing across dedicated DigitalOcean deployment environments.

I centralized identity and access management with Keycloak SSO and used HashiCorp Vault for secure configuration of financial queuing and processing. I optimized highly available PostgreSQL deployments behind load balancers, and used Active Model and Active Storage against AWS S3 and DigitalOcean Spaces/Volumes, orchestrating distributed NFS file systems for inter-VM communication. Reliability and data integrity were enforced through RSpec unit tests with VCR cassettes, strict schema checks, and dry-run validations.

I architected a multi-tenant SaaS ecosystem using BuddyBoss as the application chassis, extending its native Learning Management System capabilities through custom back-end PHP development. I engineered the eCommerce and payment workflows on WooCommerce, transitioning the platform from token-based sales to recurring Stripe subscription models optimized for a multi-vendor architecture.

I implemented automated testing and CI/CD pipelines with Travis CI and Codeception, enforcing strict dependency management and version control through PHP Composer and Git, and executed staging and release flows with WP-CLI for reliable semi-automated local and production deployments. I led front-end performance optimization by bundling CSS/JavaScript resources, developing custom Elementor widgets, and resolving cross-plugin conflicts. I also drove technical procurement and architecture strategy, independently evaluating 3rd-party tools for financial and technical viability and pitching acquisitions to leadership.
