HeyDuo is an AI-powered couples' finance app I built from scratch as a personal project. It helps couples track shared expenses, split bills fairly, and stop arguing about money. It has a friendly AI assistant that understands context and nudges toward healthier financial habits.

I designed and shipped the full stack: a React Native mobile app, a Next.js web dashboard, a Supabase back-end with real-time sync, and an LLM-powered conversational layer for the AI assistant. The app handles expense categorization, smart splitting rules, recurring bill tracking, and natural language queries about spending patterns. The system was built as a creative outlet to stay sharp in conversational AI applied to time-series datasets and in product design outside my day-to-day startup work.

Quizilio is a WhatsApp-based microlearning platform I built from scratch. It turns course materials, like PDFs, slides, and textbooks, into short daily lessons delivered straight to WhatsApp. Students build real study habits in just 5 minutes a day, with no app to download.

I designed and shipped the full stack: a Next.js web app where instructors upload materials and configure courses, a Python/FastAPI back end that uses LLMs to break content into bite-sized lessons and generate quiz questions, and a WhatsApp integration layer via the Meta Business API for automated delivery and two-way interaction.

The platform handles content ingestion, AI-powered lesson generation, spaced repetition scheduling, and student progress tracking. It was built as a side project exploring the intersection of AI, education, and messaging-first UX.

ExchangeIT is a Shopify app I acquired and grew to 1,500+ merchant installs, earning the "Built for Shopify" status. It replaces Shopify's default refund flow with a smarter exchange and returns management system, encouraging customers to swap rather than request a refund and saving merchants lost revenue.

After acquisition, I rebuilt core parts of the app: migrated the front end to React with Shopify Polaris, overhauled the merchant dashboard, added automated exchange rules and email notifications, and improved App Store listing and onboarding to drive organic growth. On the back end, I maintained the Node.js API and PostgreSQL database and performed webhook integrations with Shopify's admin and storefront APIs. I grew the app solo, handling feature development, infrastructure, customer support, and App Store optimization, all the way to "Built for Shopify" certification.
