At Fidelity Investments, I worked as a senior iOS engineer supporting core brokerage and trading experiences used by Fidelity customers. My work spanned the Core and Maintenance, Portfolio Monitoring, and Trade teams, with a focus on modernizing legacy functionality, improving application performance, and maintaining production stability. I contributed to the migration of Trade and Price Alerts functionality from Objective-C to Swift and SwiftUI using MVVM architecture. I also helped optimize the Positions Grid, improving performance by approximately 50% while supporting portfolios containing thousands of positions and eliminating related crashes. My responsibilities included feature development, defect resolution, automated testing, code reviews, production hotfixes, and maintaining approximately 80% test coverage. I collaborated closely with engineers, product partners, and QA throughout development and release cycles to deliver reliable, maintainable functionality within Fidelity’s large-scale iOS application.

At PEAR Health Labs, I worked as a senior mobile engineer on Aaptiv, a digital fitness application centered around instructor-led audio workouts. My primary contribution was rebuilding the iOS audio player using AVAudioEngine to support more sophisticated multi-stream audio playback. The new architecture enabled workout instruction, music, and other audio sources to be managed independently while maintaining synchronized playback. I also implemented AirPlay support and worked through the complexities of iOS audio sessions, routing, playback state, and interruptions. My involvement included architecture, implementation, debugging, testing, and collaboration with the broader engineering team to improve the reliability and flexibility of Aaptiv’s core workout experience.

At ISBX, I contributed to the development of the OWL mobile application, focusing on voice and language-processing features. My work included integrating Amazon Lex for conversational interactions and Amazon Polly for text-to-speech functionality, enabling the app to interpret user input and generate spoken responses. I was involved in implementing the iOS-side integrations, managing service communication, handling response states, and refining the user experience around voice-driven interactions. I also collaborated with the broader engineering team on testing, debugging, and production readiness to help deliver a responsive and reliable conversational experience within the application.

At ISBX, I contributed to the Wag! iOS application, a mobile platform that connects pet owners with dog walkers and other pet-care services. My work focused on developing and refining consumer-facing features intended to improve engagement, conversion, and the booking experience. I implemented iOS functionality in Swift and Objective-C, integrated application flows with back-end services, and addressed UI, state management, and reliability issues across key customer journeys. I also participated in debugging, testing, code review, and release preparation, collaborating with product, design, back-end, and QA teams to deliver production features in a large, actively used mobile application.
