Project History
Advisor WordPress Theme
Back in 2017, I worked with a local team. I was given an HTML design, which I converted to a WP theme. It was a theme integrated with Visual Composer page builder, and I got it approved by ThemeForest as it was purely built on WP standards; it was on the list of top-selling themes for two months straight.
WordPress Website Developed from Scratch
A custom theme was developed using the ACF PRO, and the design was provided in Figma. I created shortcodes for the different sections of the pages, and the site was well-optimized. The gravity forms plugin was used for the complex form handling. It was a website for an agency.
User Role and Order Reporting System
https://www.researchednutritionals.com/Researched Nutritionals is a WooCommerce site. I developed a system for patients and doctor roles for this site and also developed a plugin to generate CSV reports for the orders. The doctor user role has a specific code that patients can use to get specific discounts, and the doctors can send recommendations to patients via email. A discount rule is applied if the recommendations are purchased. This is one of my recent projects.
Local Pickup Shipping Method WooCommerce
I recently developed a shipping method for WooCommerce. It was a local pickup option based on the cart items and ZIP code. The store has two outlets, and some product categories are available in one outlet, so the user with a specific ZIP code and products in the cart was allowed for pickup. There were other scenarios, too; for example, if a specific product type is in the cart, no matter which ZIP code is, it will be shipped from a particular outlet. It was an exciting project which I did while working with NDIC.
