As lead software engineer at Promin, I oversaw the development of a charitable, free, and open-source handbook on psychological care for the civilian population of Ukraine during a full-scale invasion.

The project was a collaborative effort of 10 people, where I led the development. I was responsible for designing back-end and mobile/web architectures, leading a remote team of four engineers, and implementing cross-platform development using React Native via Expo and JavaScript/React. Additionally, I utilized Docker Compose for containerization, Python for back-end services, and automated Linux processes with Bash scripting. The end goal of this project was to provide a pocket handbook on self-care that could function without internet access, ensuring accessibility even in disrupted conditions.

MotoPress Visual Page Builder enhances the standard WordPress rich text editor and enables you to build websites visually. It’s the complete solution for building responsive pages without coding and simply by dragging and dropping content elements. I was responsible for the whole tech stack, working closely with the chief product officer of the product.

SentiSum is a company that specializes in providing AI-powered customer feedback analysis. I worked as a senior full-stack software engineer at SentiSum, a customer feedback analysis startup that helps businesses make data-driven decisions using AI-powered insights. My primary responsibility was to architect and build their core product from scratch, making key decisions on the tech stack. This included migrating from Meteor.js to Feathers.js, which significantly improved scalability and performance.

The technical challenges were substantial. I had to ensure the system could handle vast amounts of data while maintaining speed and reliability. Additionally, I developed critical back-end services like authentication and query generation, as well as front-end features with a focus on user experience in the dashboard. This work directly contributed to SentiSum’s acceptance into the 500 Startups accelerator. It was a rewarding project that showcased my full-stack skills, particularly in building robust, scalable systems using JavaScript technologies.
