Work Experience
Java Back-end Developer
2022 - 2024
Visa
- Developed an enterprise web application for Visa screening tools, leveraging Java 8, a Hibernate framework with JPA, Spring, Spring annotations, RESTful web services, Spring Boot, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Implemented microservices, RESTful APIs, and centralized configurations into the existing system architecture with Spring Cloud.
- Built a web application using object-oriented solid design principles, automating the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Worked on Jenkins for continuous integration with Bitbucket and Git.
- Introduced test automation using the TestNG framework for Visa's screening tool and notification events. I used SonarQube as a code QA tool to analyze the quality of the source code.
- Monitored, searched, analyzed, and visualized machine-generated data in real time using Splunk.
- Obtained experience in RabbitMQ's asynchronous messaging services, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, GraphQL, and Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS).
- Leveraged Jira for issue tracking and Rally for logging user stories and tasks.
- Thrived effectively in an Agile platform development model.
