The most amazing...
...solution I've built is a tool that shows online shoppers how clothes will fit: it draws the product's SVG to exact measurements and compares it to the body.
Work Experience
Full-stack Developer
AverPoint
- Owned the product end to end as the sole engineer on an early-stage build for AverPoint, including React front end, Node.js back end, and all AWS infrastructure.
- Developed a browser extension to track verified reading engagement, refining from initial active minutes tracking to paragraph-level on-screen tracking plus a required AI-generated comprehension quiz before granting credit, tied to a leveling system.
- Built two GPT-4o-mini content pipelines for AverPoint: a course-building agent generating topic and article suggestions via NewsAPI and a syllabus-parsing pipeline that extracts structured schedules from PDF/DOC curricula into a typed JSON schema.
- Engineered a multi-round AI news-retrieval pipeline (AWS Lambda, NewsAPI.ai, GPT-4o-mini) for AverPoint to curate 10 vetted readings per course topic from 17 approved publishers, cutting execution time 41% and token usage 69% with optimizations.
- Migrated AverPoint infrastructure from Heroku to AWS with a zero-downtime staging-to-production CodePipeline, added AWS Cognito authentication, and secured MongoDB and back-end services behind a VPC.
- Architected Python ML models (KNN) for automated multi-class content classification for AverPoint and implemented a daily automated AWS cost reporting email to catch spend surprises early.
Full-stack Developer
AnyCard
- Built the core Laravel 13 (PHP 8.3) REST API on an Oracle database—not the typical MySQL/Postgres+ORM stack—handling the full card lifecycle, including issue, activate, reload, redeem, void, e-gift activation, and bulk activation.
- Designed a layered anti-fraud defense on the balance-check endpoint, including CAPTCHA, blocklist, rate limits, and velocity checks, cheapest first, with generic responses to hide which rule tripped.
- Architected a merchant-branded email template system—subject, styling, logo, and bilingual EN/FR content—as a content-resolution system layering overrides over sensible defaults.
- Engineered a bonus-to-sender registration flow, letting a gift card sender claim a promotional bonus on a public landing page, with identity checks (matched by email) ensuring only the original sender could claim it.
- Developed an async-by-default delivery pipeline (SQS-backed jobs) for card/bonus generation, with retry, backoff, and clean rollback on failure, keeping checkout fast regardless of delivery speed.
- Shipped Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passbook issuance with push updates, plus Stripe and Checkout.com payment integrations with dedicated webhook handlers.
Front-end Developer
Virtusize
- Built a measurement-driven SVG visualization engine that dynamically deforms product SVGs to render accurate fit comparisons against a body or reference objects.
- Supported a large, varied product catalog—multiple genders, body types, and reference objects like bottles, phones, and A4 paper—without special-casing each one in the core engine.
- Architected the engine as a staged pipeline (config to measurement to labeling to asset resolution to render) using strategy, registry/resolver, and adapter patterns so new products or measurements plug in without touching core rendering logic.
- Designed and shipped an A/B testing layer for the existing embedded-widget loader with deterministic origin-scoped browser variant assignment (2+ variants, custom traffic splits), per-variant event tracking, and no client-side redeployment required.
- Kept experiment assignment consistent for the same shopper even across different client websites, since the widget's loader—not each client's site—owned the variant logic.
Full-stack Developer
Alerzo
- Built the React/GraphQL admin panel and inventory back end for a bulk-order platform that serves vendors across multiple warehouses.
- Developed a lightweight PWA from scratch, replicating the native app experience so vendors could order directly from the browser with no install required.
- Architected flexible discount logic—bundle deals, free-product-with-purchase, and per-product discounts—as well as variant management, all configurable from the admin panel.
- Split the back end into separate services for products, users, inventory, and payments, each behind an API gateway, so that each domain can scale and deploy independently.
Full-stack Developer
Skuad
- Built a Go and Python LinkedIn profile-scraping pipeline with Selenium-driven session automation and throttled rate-limiting feeding a MongoDB candidate warehouse for direct-hire sourcing.
- Throttled requests to stay safely under LinkedIn's concurrency limits, protecting recruiter accounts from getting flagged while still scaling candidate sourcing.
- Automated the candidate funnel end to end, including resume-based profile creation, automatic Codility test scheduling with pass/reject routing, interviewer assignment with auto-generated calendar invites, and a funnel and analytics dashboard.
Senior Software Developer
Argusoft India Ltd.
- Directed a data engineering team of 8 – 12 developers, overseeing architecture decisions and code quality across the group's deliverables as the team's most senior engineer.
- Owned the architecture for a multi-tenant enterprise platform's data import/export pipelines, scaling reliable throughput from 1 – 10GB files to a stable 50 – 100GB while serving roughly 10,000 users per tenant.
- Completed a three-month on-site engagement at KPMG global headquarters in Amstelveen, Netherlands, working directly with client stakeholders to resolve critical production issues.
- Earned an employee of the month award for designing a high-performance data import utility capable of handling hundreds of gigabytes with rate limiting and ZIP support.
Experience
KPMG Sofy Suite
https://www.kpmgsofy.com/I scaled CSV/Excel import/export from 1 – 10GB to a reliable 50 – 100GB via an event-driven architecture with idempotent replay for safe retries. When the pipeline hit a Node.js performance ceiling, I benchmarked Java, .NET, C#, Python, and Go, and then rewrote it in C# on Azure Functions, achieving a major throughput gain.
I worked on dynamic multi-tenant provisioning on Azure PaaS—a new database and blank schema per tenant, automated migrations across all tenants, and per-tenant environment variables and domains—and attribute-based access control and per-tenant isolation (roughly 10,000 users/tenant) via PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, and JWT and SSO/SAML auth with Azure Key Vault.
I worked on dynamic dashboards and conditional forms generated from client-defined schemas, as well as a Puppeteer-based PDF-generation microservice for dashboard exports.
I also spent three months on-site at KPMG's Amstelveen, Netherlands headquarters for client delivery and production issue resolution.
Chime | Misinformation Detection and Counter Messaging Platform
I built it from scratch, with React and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and MongoDB on the back end. The detection side pulls tweet-volume trends, social network graphs, and spreader analysis from Georgia Tech's research APIs into real-time claim-detection dashboards, visualized with Highcharts and Sigma.js and Graphology network graphs.
For counter-messaging, I built a multi-platform ad-publishing engine that integrates Facebook, Instagram, Twitter Ads, and YouTube (Google Ads) APIs, enabling teams to create campaigns and ad sets with location, interest, and lookalike targeting. After launch, teams could track ad performance (impressions, clicks, views) and run A/B tests by splitting audiences into groups to compare ad versions.
I also implemented role-based team and publisher access control, AWS Cognito/Amplify authentication, and Stripe subscription billing with webhook-driven budget management.
Tenakata | USSD Finance App
I built the Node.js/Express backend powering the USSD flow, designing a custom state-machine engine to manage conversation state. Each screen was defined by regex or exact-match transitions with its own handler, making the menu easy to extend as new flows were added.
I used Redis for session state management across USSD requests, since each interaction is stateless at the telecom layer, and secured the flow with JWT-based session authentication so users could complete multi-step actions safely. I deployed and configured the service on AWS EC2 using PM2 for process management to improve reliability.
TransientCard | Serverless Self-expiring Form System
I built an Azure Logic App workflow to orchestrate the form lifecycle—generating an Adaptive Card-based form, producing a shareable link, and using an HTTP webhook to wait asynchronously for submission before continuing. I developed two separate Azure Functions apps (Node.js) in a public/private split: a public-facing function proxies safe requests, while a secured back-end function handles token validation and data storage, keeping sensitive logic inaccessible from the internet.
I implemented JWT-based, time-limited access tokens with automatic link invalidation upon submission or expiry, backed by Azure Table Storage to persist form state. I configured Managed Identity authentication between the Functions and Logic App, so no credentials needed to be stored between services. I also built dynamic, schema-driven Adaptive Card forms with regex-based field validation and file upload support, and authored setup/deployment documentation for repeatable deployment.
