- Oversaw the acquisition of the company by the shareholders. The company has around EUR 100 million in assets under management and was acquired for EUR 6.5 million in 2022. My role included performing the financial and operational due diligence.
- Managed the treasury of the company, created capital allocation procedures, negotiated credit facilities with banks, and implemented short- and long-term investment strategies.
- Prepared and presented financial reports such as budgets, management accounts, recovery plans, ICAAP, ILAAP, risk management frameworks, and client money analyses.
- Established systems, policies, and procedures for the new company post-acquisition. These encompassed every facet of the operation, from IT, HR, back office, sales, corporate finance, trading, and stakeholder relations.
- Hired and trained a team to take over the investment banking/corporate finance function of the firm. This included financial analysis training, IPO procedures, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and other related functions.
