- Oversaw a project for automated finance reconciliation, where we reconciled bank and payment gateway reports automatically, reducing reconciliation time for finance by 85% and reducing customer calls for complaints by 40%.

Astro Payment Gateway

Astro Payment Gateway is an internal product for Astro, a media conglomerate in Malaysia. The payment gateway processes over two million transactions a year for 12 business units. I was involved in migrating the payment gateway from on-premises to AWS cloud and scaling from four clients to 12.
I launched the following features:
- Subscription management.
- One-click payments, driving a $2 million annual revenue uplift.
- An anti-fraud layer.
- A client-facing dashboard to view analytics, search transactions, and download reports.
- Automated reconciliation of payments from banks and the payment gateway, decreasing customer calls by over 40% and saving precious engineering time.
Merchant Dashboard for Risk and Fraud
Led the revamp of the Shield merchant dashboard with a team of five engineers and one designer, used by clients worldwide.
SHIELD is a global enterprise cyber protection company covering eWallet, super apps, eCommerce, and retail industries. I led the merchant dashboard revamp and drove this with their client OVO in South East Asia, the most significant wallet in Indonesia. The new dashboard offers end-to-end visibility on risk and fraud with the following touchpoints; login, signup, money-in (top-up, P2P transfer), payments (payment for a service), and money-out (bank transfer). The dashboard also offers a complete customer risk profile and indicators of what makes the transaction/customer high risk. The NPS score increased from 27 to 48 in three months.
