Project History

JPMorgan Chase | Launch of the Top 1 Digital Wealth Management Product

https://www.jwesposito.com/work/chase

Acquired $500+ billion in account funding, an aggregate increase in digital account enrollment.

The company wanted to establish a modern investment product on a legacy tech stack and integrate multiple vendors. I led the product and content strategy for the launch across the mobile app, web, tablet, and desktop.

JPMorgan Private Bank | Digital Experience Conversion of a Legacy Loan Product

https://www.jwesposito.com/work/j-p-morgan

Achieved a 15% conversion rate, 630 open lines, and 1.6 days in average setup time—which was an 88% decrease from the legacy experience.

Opening a securities-based loan (SBL) account required 40+ wet signatures in 20+ days. I created a seamless end-to-end UX.

I analyzed the existing origination flow and unpacked UX research, which showed that clients wanted advisor engagement complemented by digital services.

City National Bank | Personal Banking Redesign & Vendor Tech Migration

https://www.jwesposito.com/work/city-national-bank

Saved $25 million in annual expenses by migrating fintech products in-house and increased digital enrollment speed by 8% after the Account Summary launch.

FIS, one of the bank's vendors, was sunsetting or deprecating its legacy product and no longer supporting enhancements. As a result, the Account Summary feature no longer displayed a full account list, lacked relevant data, and could not be customized.

I created a Kanban for all stakeholders, prioritizing capabilities and features and decomposing them into Jira initiatives, epics, and stories. I also ensured tracking tags were implemented for Adobe, Tableau, Qualtrics, and Facebook Connect.

Reimagine Product and Content for Apple.com

https://www.jwesposito.com/work/apple

Achieved a $250 million quarterly revenue boost through digital content transformation and an overall increase in add-to-bag and conversions.

Situation: Apple serves intent-driven consumers well.

Problem: Apple does not serve 'browser' shoppers well.

Mandate: Improve product integrations for Apple products and services.

Methodology
• Determine content and products worth testing, test location, and show/hide.
‍• Unpack research from Deloitte, McKinsey, and internal findings.

Apple Card Buy Flow Integration Strategy

https://www.jwesposito.com/work/apple#ApplePay

Increased Apple Card enrollment, accelerated first-time spend timeline, and improved overall purchase balance.

Content strategy
I conducted A/B tests on designs across eligible locales and suggested key content pillars: cash back, no fees, free card, and privacy. This strategy led to increased cardholder growth, more iPhone Pay activations, and higher merchant partner spend with companies like Uber, Walgreens, and T-Mobile.

Integration into buy flows
I integrated Apple Card monthly installments into the checkout process, ensuring the language was clear for both buy and finance options. I also tested placements of Apple trade-in and carrier selection to optimize the user experience.

Dashboard design
I collaborated with colleagues from Wallet, Card, and Pay to reimagine Apple's banking experiences.
