Project History

Award from Alexandria City Public Schools for Translation and Interpretation Services

Got awarded as the best scoring proposal, got an initial contract and one renewal for a second period.

Services required were face to face interpretation, telephone interpretation services and translation services, it was not mandatory to provide all three services (but I did). ACPS had the option to award to multiple vendors based upon the best interest for ACPS. Standard and emergency services were to be provided on an “as needed” basis and were available to all Alexandria City Public Schools.

The content of the proposal included several aspects of the company and how we planned to implement the services solicited in the RFP document, along with a demonstration of our previous experience, expertise in the subject matters required, a vast pool of qualified and tested resources, and a multidisciplinary team to manage the project assignments, quality and commercial communications. The relevancy of the provided information made us outstand from the other vendors and hit the highest score in the evaluation of proposals.

Award by King County Housing Authority for Translation and Interpretation Services

Contract award for the provision of Telephonic, Video Remote and In-person Interpretation, Written Translation and American Sign Language (ASL) services.

We provided translations for all documents assigned by the King County Housing Authority, including, but not limited to, the following: Legal Documents, Dwelling leases, Grievance policies, Application forms, Letters, Flyers.

Interpretation and translation services were available in, but not limited to, the following languages: Amharic, Arabic, Cambodian, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tigrinya, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.

In addition to translating major documents mentioned above, interpreting services were also provided on an on-call basis for meetings, telephone conversations, and remote interpretation.

I submitted a fully responsive proposal that responded to all the requirements set forth at the solicitation documents, including additional documentation such as resumes of proposed keystaff, legal documents and affidavits, support documents to demonstrate experience, expertise in the subject matters required, and providing all the services solicited. I managed the full proposal cycle and all its steps and sections alone.

Contract Awarded by Battelle Memorial Institute for Translation Services

Award of contract by Battelle Memorial Institute for the provision of translation services and contract renewal for a 2nd period.
