I formulated the CEO’s vision into a testable hypothesis. Maturing the vision into a product concept, through testing, iteration, and research. Creating a full product strategy based on market research and analysis. The project culminated in a full build, where I was involved in every step from strategy, to requirements and fully executing the GTM. The product launched V1 in June 2021 as a multi-application web platform and full scoring engine.
Consumer Facing Data Transparency Web App
Launched a novel consumer marketing data transparency application.
This was a complicated project where I was tasked with developing the product strategy and fully executing it. This included integrating many disparate data assets and creating a consumer-facing application.
I achieved corporate goals to be first to market and received positive PR coverage from the NYT, CNN, WSJ, and many top industry media outlets. In addition to having over 1M visitors before the end of the first month, without an assigned marketing budget. One of the fun parts of this GTM was presenting it to the FTC and multiple Senate committees, along with multiple top 500 brands.
B2B Continuous Evaluation and Analytics Platform
Introduced and implemented all product management, user experience, data acquisition, and release management practices in the organization.
At the time of hire, they had only a few engineers who based their work efforts on the whim of its leadership and in general no set way for the team and company to drive to success.
I worked with the CEO to understand his goals and created a long-term vision. This changed the overall business approach. I developed a new product business plan that addressed real market needs and ultimately established organizational goals to align all teams.
With this, I introduced and implemented (from the ground up) all product management, sprint cadence, and release management practices. The teams now had a common goal and vision to follow. Work was prioritized against the goals and supported by market and user feedback. This significantly increased the team's velocity and created relevant output.
This resulted in the company landing its first client based on a strategy that had a clear market fit.
