As there are thousands of infringing web portals, Search Light helps automate the whole process. It includes an efficient web crawler based on Apache Storm and crawls thousands of URLs daily. Its different modules work independently as a microservice architecture and perform different functions—downloading video content, matching site metadata with the content library, running a rule engine to identify the infringement, continuously checking for the URL validity, updating internet data, and sending automated legal notice emails. It has a UI for the DMCA to manage the crawling process and the infringement results.
