Join us for a thrilling 4-hour challenge that will leave you feeling inspired and accomplished. Whether you’re a seasoned design pro or a newcomer to the field, there’s a place for everyone to contribute and make a meaningful impact.

🚀Kick Off Event - Thursday, March 14 - 2PM-3PM UTC / 9AM - 10AM EST

• You will meet your teammates and decide on a team name, design your mascot and discover all the diverse skills your team members bring to the table.
• You will meet the experienced mentor assigned to your team, who will be on hand to offer guidance, support, and valuable insights throughout the event.
• The event will wrap up with a sneak peak of the challenge and overview of what you can expect on the day of the Hackathon.

🎯Hackathon Challenge - Saturday, March 23 - 1PM-5PM UTC / 8AM-12PM EST

• With just 4 hours on the clock, the pressure is on to brainstorm, refine your designs, and bring your vision to life.
• Enjoy the whirlwind of creativity, collaboration, and adrenaline as you work together to overcome obstacles and submit the deliverables.

🏆Hackathon Awards Ceremony - Wednesday, March 27 - 2PM-3PM UTC / 9AM - 10AM EST

• A moment of celebration and recognition for the hard work and dedication that you and your team have poured into the Hackathon.
• You’ll have the chance to explore each team’s deliverables in their expo booth and speed network 1:1 with other participants to expand your professional network.
• The judges will announce the winner at the end of the hour who will receive a celebratory team dinner courtesy of Toptal!

Important information:

• You must be available on the dates of the event.
• You do not have to be in the design vertical to participate in this event. In fact we encourage individuals wanting to enhance, expand and utilize their skill set to participate.
• You will be evaluated on the following criteria during this challenge:
  • Design thinking
  • Relatability to a real-life charity’s mission and problem statement
  • Solution approach
  • A solution that is low maintenance, and low budget
• This event will be hosted on Airmeet. To ensure you are registered correctly, please follow these steps:
  • Follow the RSVP link to the external registration page on Airmeet.
  • As this event is only for talent in the network, you must register with your Toptal email address.
  • Complete the registration form
  • Once your registration form is submitted, you will receive a confirmation message from notifications@airmeetevents.com to your Toptal email address with your unique access link. Do not share this link with anyone else.
  • Add the event to your calendar. Your unique access link will automatically be added to the invite. This is how you will access the event the day of.
