About Miel Wellens

Miel, a Belgian designer with 15+ years in design strategy, began as a pioneering web designer at 14 and later created the first 3D printed titanium eyewear. With a rich background in industrial design, he has consulted for Fortune 500 companies and startups in Europe and Asia, including Philips and Toyota, and led an innovation team in Shanghai. Now based in Belgium and Shanghai, Miel operates a micro-studio with his wife, focusing on helping brands innovate. His freelance work includes luxury design, 3D projects for startups, and comprehensive branding solutions. Beyond work, Miel enjoys music, coding, and creating art installations, with plans to showcase his diverse projects in an upcoming portfolio.
