Mari is an award-winning full-stack product, UX/UI, and visual designer who's successfully led teams (startups included) and projects all over the world for over 15 years. She's designed responsive websites, web/native apps and consulted on design processes—audits, product design cycles and product team workflows to make the product roadmap more cost and time effective. Notable clients include Pixar, Autodesk, Adobe, Marqeta, Wavefront, and NCM.
Tasked with taking a 9 year-old product system and turning it into a responsive site. Did this via auditing the present system--segregating the UX, content and visual design while aggregating new business objectives. The result has been a native app, a responsive web app, a simplified user flow, and an improved feature for the patient portal. The immediate result from this has been a 70% reduction in customer call volume.
Presented proven new design paradigms and best practices while working with an UX analyst to support a new design hypothesis.
Participated and led user-testing research which includes prototypes, user flows, use cases, personas, and site maps to translate business-level goals into measurable business results which has recently received unsolicited positive customer feedback and ratings.
Performed UX auditing of the internal portals and submitted recommendations.
Led the UX design for an extensive responsive redesign of the education segment that will spearhead a global refactoring project for all of Adobe.com.
Worked closely with the product marketing, brand, visual design, content management, and engineering teams worldwide.
Designed and delivered information architecture documentation, site maps, navigation models, user flows, prototypes, wireframes and design paradigms for a pattern library for the initial launch in 2013 (www.adobe.com/education).
