Chemistry VR is an immersive educational application designed for the Meta Quest platform, enabling students to safely perform virtual chemistry experiments in a lifelike lab environment. As the lead developer, I utilized Unity and C# to build realistic 3D models, simulate accurate chemical reactions, and integrate intuitive user interactions via the XR Interaction Toolkit. By optimizing rendering pipelines and physics calculations, the application delivers high-fidelity visuals and smooth performance on standalone VR headsets. The project helps learners understand complex concepts through hands-on exploration and interactive lessons, ultimately improving retention rates and engagement. My role also involved collaborating with educators to ensure that each experiment met academic standards while maintaining a user-friendly design and seamless functionality.
