  • Architected and developed from scratch the firmware for a remote indeflator device for angioplasty and stent placement, written to MISRA C++23 and documented in accordance with IEC 62304. The device received its CE mark and is used in hospitals.
  • Developed firmware for an endovascular surgical robot focused on real-time, safety-critical motion control.
  • Led a small team of junior engineers and owned CI/CD pipelines, Git workflow, code review culture, and coding standards across the firmware codebase.
  • Built C++/Qt desktop applications supporting the devices.
  • Designed the network architecture for the robot and architected and enabled remote robot operations over a custom VPN network.

Developed firmware for an endovascular surgical robot (real-time, safety-critical motion control) as part of an 8-person electronics/embedded engineering team. I led the team's software development practices, documentation, and CI/CD, which contributed to the device later receiving CE marking. I also architected the network layout and topology and built a custom VPN solution that enabled remote transatlantic surgeries.

Was one of the first engineers on the OBDeleven iOS app. I built both the OBDeleven VAG and OBDeleven apps from scratch. It is used by drivers worldwide for vehicle diagnostics, coding, and customization. I wrote this in native Swift.

OBDeleven Device Firmware

Developed firmware for the OBDeleven OBD-II dongle—a BLE gateway between the mobile app and the car’s control units. I used older generation device firmware as a baseline but mainly developed the firmware as a one person team.
