Marketplace for Fitness/Bodywork Professionals

Performed industry analysis, market research, produced business specification, and created a product requirements document.

The product represents a B2C/C2C marketplace for fitness and bodywork professionals. It has a number of distinctive features, such as location-based user matching, advanced session negotiation, and scheduling opportunities, and marketing opportunities.
As an early-stage expert, I:
• Performed marketing research to confirm market-fit
• Found out industry business mechanics to reuse proven ones
• Gathered and cleared out stakeholder’s expectations
• Created a product requirement document for the SaaS marketplace
• Guided a team to bootstrap design and development

DivX Software Bundle

Designed the next generation of the product portfolio (DivX 11) and improved production processes to zero-miss releases.

This is a set of cross-platform apps for multimedia playback, transcoding, and streaming. The product portfolio included five titles and a number of marketing packages for the B2C and B2B market segments. I designed and documented a complete framework for the next generation of the product bundle (DivX 11), including ecosystem research and market positioning, product concept, bundling, core features description, technology basis, UX and UI concepts, and wireframes.

Monthly bundle downloads: Over ten million.
Total downloads: Over one billion.
Sold for $41 million to the Fortress Group.

Voxtrot (mVoIP Service)

http://mashable.com/2011/02/22/voxtrot/

Addressed product flaws and found new industry-proven strategies for technical and product evolution.

“Voxtrot — the free mobile network.” This is a VoIP 2.0 era solution (iOS, Android, Symbian). It is a rival to Viber, Tango, and similar platforms. The startup environment required leadership and hard work; I wore several hats: technical project manager, technical analyst, and business analyst, as well as contributed to the product development. The mVoIP domain analysis showed that the project was started with an inappropriate architectural solution. After case reassessment with stakeholders, I researched and found a more effective technical solution and draft a migration plan to another architecture. I led the product through a successful MVP and the first public release.

Mechs Warfare (Mobile Game)

Mastered the game design, revamped the product to fit the market, increased +15% metrics-driven monthly growth, and hit the top 100 free category.

This was a multi-platform mobile game for Android and iOS. I was the product, project, and publishing manager. I drove the project from scratch to release—including ideation, pre-MVP validation, game design supervision, monetization, in-game economy, development control, analytics, publishing, and post-release support.

With no previous experience in free to play (F2P) mobile player vs. player (PvP), the team was able to hit the top 100 list organically in several markets and was later promoted to the top 50 free US category.
