I treated the problem as a data product strategy and operating model challenge. I worked with business users to understand daily decision needs and defined core dimensions (Product, Customer, Session, Marketing & Funnel). I prioritized product and supplier data, then worked with data engineers to implement a Bronze–Silver–Gold structure with full lineage and standardised data product creation.

Within three months, trusted dashboards were live and data accuracy was restored. Stakeholders became self-sufficient in analysis, reducing BI dependency. Analysts shifted to higher-value work, while reusable data products improved decision quality.

Fanatical is a fast-growing online gaming eCommerce company whose data and analytics setup was no longer fit for scale. Tables lacked ownership and lineage, dashboards were unreliable, and there was no data catalogue, schema, or scalable model.

2Performant is the first affiliate software company launched in Romania. Currently, it is the market leader in its segment and became a public company. The company is a spin-off from my first startup, Captaingo, a hotel distribution company that needed affiliate marketing distribution.

GTA wanted to relaunch a specific set of travel APIs in China, a growing travel market. The project involved local market research, customer profile definition, PRD, and marketing strategy.

We uncovered key requirements during early customer sessions, like speed, error rates, and regulatory restrictions, which formed the backbone for differentiation and client acquisition.

China’s largest OTA (Ctrip) became a client with other local leaders.

Served as product manager for a price prediction engine that used machine learning to forecast optimal price levels for cruises. The tool helped revenue managers to make better pricing decisions by gathering large amounts of data from various sources.

Key improvements: 90% less friction in price-setting efforts; 7-15% margin uplift.

Assisted the VP of Strategy and Product Management to define and set up experiments to validate market opportunities which allowed the company to sell its software under new use cases.

Analytics software is a hyper-competitive space where the client competed against established leaders (Tableau, Microsoft, SAS) from Gartner Quadrant. To differentiate, I helped the client identify new use cases in new verticals.
