Lanre is a senior product designer with 8 years of experience designing the systems institutions and professionals rely on when the cost of getting it wrong is real, across financial infrastructure, scientific publishing, public-service software, and regulated lending. He now designs AI products where trust decides adoption, prototyping with AI tools across design and code so concepts are tested as working software rather than static mocks.

Work Experience
Design Partner
Pluto Financial
- Designed the MVP end-to-end, covering the borrower app, the advisor dashboard, and the application flow for the WELOC, Pluto's flagship credit product.
- Ran an AI-led design practice on the engagement, prototyping with Claude across design and code, so concepts could be tested as working products rather than static mocks.
- Built a lightweight design system inside each prototype, then wrote final concepts back to Figma through AI tooling so the engagement kept a design record of what was actually decided.
Co-founder, Product Design
Ophy AI
- Designed the product from zero to live across 17 countries, monetized within the first six months across three subscription tiers.
- Designed the onboarding flow that carries a 95 percent completion rate, a result directly attributable to the flow I led.
- Led product design alongside a technical co-founder running engineering and AI systems, working at the prompt and output level rather than in static comps, because on this product, the model's behavior is the interface.
- Positioned the product around the authenticity gap, where competitors optimize for keyword density, and Ophy is designed for work a candidate can read back and genuinely own.
Senior Product Designer
Summer PBC
- Served as the sole designer of the platform from 2022 until the design team grew in 2026, then continued to lead design on a product that has helped over 300,000 users save more than $1.9 billion in student loan repayments.
- Designed the product behind Summer's partnership with New York City, the largest municipal student loan benefits program of its kind in the United States.
- Led the accessibility-first design system that three product teams now ship on, cutting design-to-development time by roughly 40 percent.
- Brought core flows toward WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508 conformance, shipping new offerings accessible by default while the wider platform migrated progressively.
- Designed and launched College Savings Planner, Tuition Reimbursement, and Retirement Match, widening the product offering and supporting client retention.
Senior Product Designer
Morressier
- Served as founding designer for the Research Integrity product, giving publishers tools to detect and act on misconduct before it enters the scientific record, and securing key clients including ASCPT and the SAE.
- Transformed the Integrity Manager from passive detection into an interactive investigation tool, so publishers could resolve misconduct cases with confidence rather than work through a raw signal list.
- Redesigned and expanded the Proceedings Manager into a full conference platform, shortening publication processing time and reducing publication errors across the workflow.
- Contributed the design work behind a product central to a $16.5 million Series B and to the company's acquisition by Molecular Connections, recognized as an ALPSP Innovation Award finalist in 2024.
Senior Product Designer
Intaglio Mentoring Limited
- Designed a system to help individuals find relevant mentors to schedule calls with or join masterclasses to improve their dental domain knowledge through engagements, classes, workshops, and mentoring sessions.
- Designed user-centric platform interfaces. Developed intuitive UI/UX for a mentorship website, enhancing user experience and engagement through seamless navigation and a streamlined onboarding process.
- Extended an existing design system with custom components mapped to the shadcn UI library the build ran on, holding brand consistency intact and removing translation work at handoff.
- Designed the financial dashboard for mentors, bringing earnings visibility and payment tracking into a single view so mentors could see what they had earned without leaving the platform.
- Designed the communication and feedback tools that carry mentor and mentee interaction, covering the path from booking a session through to leaving feedback afterwards.
- Facilitated efficient development handover. Produced detailed documentation for developers, leading to a smooth transition from design to deployment and minimizing development delays.
- Applied accessibility standards and UX conventions across the platform design, so the marketplace stayed usable for mentors and mentees relying on assistive technology.
