Work Experience
Founder, CEO, & CMO
Future Beta
- Founded a Madison Avenue marketing firm targeting the PC gaming audience before the industry had a name, pioneering what became known as advergaming.
- Produced Las Vegas LAN events with $1+ million prize pools and partnered with CAL and CPL on their majors, securing sponsorships from AMD ($800,000) and Autobytel ($600,000).
- Built the sponsorship pipeline behind 2,000+ competitive gaming teams and pushed to get players represented by sports agents years before esports was a recognized industry.
- Created PvPn (Player vs Player Network), a social platform that lets gamers control and monetize the advertising on their own pages.
- Engineered organic search campaigns that took 30–70% of search results for target terms, dominant enough that Google changed how it handled multiple listings from a single domain.
- Delivered an average 73% reduction in PPC costs on client takeovers while improving every other metric.
- Led growth as interim CMO for a select client roster, adding $10 million in revenue for a sourcing firm in a single year and earning page-one Google rankings against national distributors for an industrial manufacturer.
Founder, CEO, & CTO
LANLabs
- Built a 10,000 sq. ft. Manhattan venue as a flagship marketing play, using its buzz to bring VCs, carriers, and partners to the table on equal footing.
- Declined three $100+ million offers to scale the company nationally, growing it without outside capital or debt.
- Partnered with MCI's UUNet to build GSL, a low-latency gaming ISP on a no-hop backbone, with access to UUNet's national customer base.
- Secured a private carrier-grade fiber line from Cogent into the facility, an unusual arrangement for a venue of its size.
- Launched and marketed ShopL2, an eCommerce and manufacturing operation that generated $1+ million in its first year, at a time when most people didn't have internet, and even fewer trusted it.
- Expanded into a New York retail chain where every store opened cash-flow positive, holding its own against local Best Buy and Dell.
- Led an organization of up to 150 employees across the company's holdings.
- Marketed the company nationally across every channel the early internet offered, and several it didn't yet: search engines before Google dominated, retail storefronts that worked as billboards, and events that drew national press.
Project History
Overseas Sourcing Agency
- 2x — Revenue in Year One
- $10 Million — Revenue from $30,000 in Ad Spend
- $36 — Paid Cost per Lead
AASA was spending $2,000+ per lead and still struggling to acquire them. With a single sourcing client worth hundreds of thousands or more, the owner had resigned himself to the expense as a necessary cost of doing business. In truth, campaign inefficiencies were severely limiting their market impression share, capping growth and profitability.
I redesigned the client’s entire digital footprint, starting with the site itself, because no campaign outperforms the page it sends traffic to. I built high-converting engagement tools for a market of high-value buyers and search patterns that didn’t fit the business model, and optimized every page to serve both the buyer and the search engine. That foundation established a $36 paid cost per lead, took market share from entrenched competitors, bringing in both more and higher value clients.
The following year, AASA grew another 20% despite losing clients to tariffs. Growth built on the site and organic search compounds; growth rented by the click stops when the budget does.
Cobra Carbide
- 1,588.5% — Increase in Daily Users
- 80.67% — Decrease in Advertising Costs
- Top 5 — Google Organics over Most Flagship Categories
Cobra Carbide, a legacy manufacturer with products in major retail, faced an ultimatum from large retailers demanding unsustainable terms. Its choices: give up its margins, or pivot to selling direct to consumers, competing with the retailers it had supplied for decades.
I scrapped the dated site and built a new one from the ground up for high-volume direct sales, then optimized it page by page until, within months, it stood on page one for flagship searches like “carbide drill” against distributors that had carried Cobra for decades. The custom eCommerce tools I built worked so well that competitors copied them. They can copy the tools, but not the 10/10 Quality Scores or the unified organic presence behind them. That’s why Cobra pays less per click than anyone bidding against it for the same spot, and why its ad spend is mostly redundancy, not reliance.
The ultimatum is gone. Cobra runs on direct revenue, holds the #1 average position in Google Shopping and Google’s Top Quality Store certification, and competes on page one with Grainger, McMaster-Carr, and Harvey Tool.
LiveAxe
http://LiveAxe.com- Top 3 — Organic Google Rankings Across Core Local Searches
- $0 — Ad Spend or Updates Since Launch, Rankings Still Hold
Just a month after opening a massive New York City location, LiveAxe was forced to shut down indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a brand-new startup facing competitors with over a decade of established market dominance, the business faced permanent closure.
I took the project with a $0 upfront fee, tying all compensation directly to the client’s survival and success. I rebuilt and optimized the website while launching a “traction” PPC campaign to build hyper-local awareness during lockdown. I also leveraged pandemic-driven digital shifts to capture local market share and dominate New York-area search results before reopening the doors.
LiveAxe is flourishing and packed most nights. The foundational SEO structure remains so powerful that the website still dominates local SERPs with zero ongoing updates or ad spend, delivering long-term organic visibility.
Speedcast | Nor-Shipping
- 40.67% — Market Impression Share in Roughly 1 Week
- 22.5% — Interaction Rate
- $0.77 — Blended CPC in Roughly 1 Week
- $0.10 — Projected CPC at Scale
Speedcast was launching its Cobham SAILOR 800 HP and Delta Fleet maritime communications products at Nor-Shipping, a launch important enough to bring in help from outside its marketing team. The timeline was extremely limited, and prior PPC providers had been misrepresenting results and overcharging, with unfocused keywords, thin ad copy, and no accurate conversion tracking.
I audited past spend against results, then rebuilt the keyword structure, ad copy, and campaign targeting within the guidelines I was given, putting Speedcast in front of the buyers, vendors, and integrators who mattered, and building an event-wide search presence in a short launch window.
Maritime press called Speedcast’s Nor-Shipping presence “a commercial and strategic success.” Some campaigns are built on solid ground. This one was weaving a basket out of a cup of water.
Paddock Collection
- 428x — ROAS
- $0.21 — Blended CPC
- 52.19% — Impression Share
Paddock Collection sold F1 merchandise trackside from trailers, earning revenue only on race weekends, while its website generated about $1,000 a month. Online, it sold the same products as Puma, the F1 teams, and major retailers, all with budgets it could never match.
Big is lazy. The giants dumped their ad traffic on homepages and answered every threat by spending more. I built Paddock a fast, precise store where every search landed on the exact product it asked for. Google rewarded the page that loaded and converted, not the bigger budget, so the more the giants spent, the less it helped them. Small and precise beat big and bloated, one search at a time.
Paddock went from $1,000 a month to $60,000 a month on $140 in ad spend, and now earns year-round instead of only on race weekends. Budget can’t buy what optimization earns.
Mavik Marine
- $0.27 — Blended Cost per Click for Top Placement
- 11.03% — Total Marine-parts Search Visibility
- 14% — Conversion Rate
A young owner bought a small Florida marine-parts store with a prehistoric website attached. Technically, the site was a disaster, but the domain had been registered in 1992. To anyone else, it was a museum piece. To me, it was a sleeping giant.
I built a zero-inventory dropship engine on enterprise Magento, integrating multiple distributors’ real-time feeds and engineering SEO around the domain’s decades of authority. A one-location shop had the look, feel, and selection of a market leader.
Somewhere at West Marine, someone likely still remembers the overnight threat from a one-store Florida shop. When the growth outpaced its first-time owner, I offered to buy the business myself. Sadly, he said no.
Attorney at Work
- Top 100,000 — Websites Worldwide, by Traffic Rank
- 126.12% — Increase in Organic Traffic
- $0 — Ad Spend
- 36.1% — Increase in Reader Engagement
Due to the significant decline in on-site advertising, AAW had to double traffic to stay profitable and continue attracting top-tier content creators—and couldn’t justify the costs of moving off its antiquated CMS.
Expert optimization breathed new life into an antiquated CMS without the crippling costs of a full migration. I engineered advanced on-page SEO frameworks, streamlined content delivery workflows, and optimized site performance to dramatically boost organic search visibility, doubling traffic and securing profitability while attracting elite content creators.
Attorney at Work broke into Alexa’s global top 100,000 websites without spending a dollar on ads, giving advertisers a reason to come back and the best legal writers a reason to keep publishing there.
Pafe Plants
- $0.21 — CPC for Top Placement in NYC Market
- 62% — Market Impression Share
- 100% — Inventory Sell-through Daily
A sharp entrepreneur launched a direct-to-consumer model in the hyper-competitive NY metro area, selling real plants daily from his own truck to slash freight costs. Despite clever logistics, he was losing online to entrenched florists, bleeding cash on Google Ads at over $2 per click with dismal placements, low CTRs, and poor conversion rates.
The idea didn’t need fixing. It needed amplifying, and that was hard. I built a store that photographed hundreds of plants in a huge warehouse every morning and stayed fast while teaching buyers that the plant they saw was the exact plant they’d get. It took a few swings and misses. I moved in small steps, so a miss never cost much, and each one taught us what to build next. Learn first, spend later.
I streamlined daily operations, reduced top-placement CPC to just $0.21, and captured a dominant 62% impression share with a 23% CTR, fueling a compounding engine that sells out inventory daily.
Corcoran Group | Hamptons
- 3 Months — Audit & Strategic Framework Development
Ultra-luxury Hamptons estates represented by The Corcoran Group were staying on the market too long. The bottleneck was presentation: properties weren’t immediately winning over the ultra-high-net-worth buyers they were built for, and in that market, every extra day carries real cost.
I led an intensive three-month advisory engagement with leadership, auditing and redesigning how premier properties were presented. I established standards for visual, spatial, digital, and narrative positioning, built to reduce buyer hesitation, raise perceived value, and improve each listing’s visibility in a fiercely competitive market.
I left the sales team with a modernized luxury presentation playbook for how premier listings are shown, positioned, and brought to market. That same year, the East End team was named brokerage team of the year.
Osensia
- Number 1 — Amazon Category Ranking for the Brush Line
A local beauty distributor and a longtime IT client wanted to launch their own product line into a market owned by legacy brands. He had a formula and the capital to produce it. Everything else, from the name on the bottle to the shelf it would sit on, had to be built from nothing.
I built the brand end to end: identity, packaging, and positioning across four lines, including hair care, brushes, a hairdryer, and men’s styling. Then, I took it where legacy beauty brands live, into traditional retail, with the presentation, pricing story, and pitch that earned shelf space. And, of course, digital marketing to make sure shoppers went looking for it.
Osensia went from a formula in a bottle to a full brand on shelves at Walmart, Target, and beyond—fully profitable within months. Its brush line still sells on Amazon years later. Brand, packaging, retail, and digital, all built from a blank page.
