Skin Cancer Awareness Campaign
Led the market research, target audience development, campaign creation, and content and social media strategies and execution—delivering 7x the projected metrics.
Capitalizing on the nostalgia trend popular among Gen X and Millennial audiences, I conceptualized the use of tanning stickers to create “tan tattoos” as a unique campaign element.
To amplify our message, I established partnerships with content creators who shared skin cancer education alongside their personal stories, including experiences with skin cancer and photos from their youth showing sunburns or tanning bed use. I developed content inspired by the “starter pack” meme, featuring nostalgic items familiar to Gen X and Millennials, paired with the tagline, “If these look familiar, you may be at risk for skin cancer.”
Additionally, I orchestrated an on-location “man on the street” photoshoot, collaborating with an influencer host to engage people on the boardwalk and test their knowledge of skin cancer. Partnering with a dermatologist, I planned, produced, and directed a video shoot, creating educational content in her office.
