Full Potential Planning

Led the full potential planning process to set up priorities and initiatives to triple the company's revenue in five years.

As the VP of product, I partnered with McKinsey & Company consultants to complete a full potential plan that established and prioritized all areas of potential growth. Over six weeks we created five target areas for growth and prioritized key initiatives for execution.

With over 100 internal and external interviews along with quantitative surveys, we establish brand and NPI metrics, competitive positioning, go to market plans, pricing strategy, portfolio rationalization, channel strategy, new lines of business, and acquisition targets.

The resulting plan establishes five categories of focus with corresponding initiatives that created the backbone of the company's 3-5 year strategy to grow revenue 3x and profit 5x.

Launch of InfoAsset

Hired and led two new product managers to build a type of comprehensive asset management software for utilities.

I hired two product managers to combine multiple asset management products into a single unified offering. I then launched a new brand to establish Innovyze as a market leader, added new features and capabilities, repackage the offering, and converted to subscription pricing.

Launch of Info360

Launched Info360 to create a new product line focused on operation analytics and decision support.

I planned out and executed the product planning, development, and launch of Info360 including the hiring, training, and management of a new product manager, product marketing manager, and user experience manager.

Info360 creates a customizable operations dashboard for utility personnel to monitor and manage thousands of real-time data streams coming from the field. With alert and predictive capability, it provides the operational insight to efficiently and safely managed a multibillion-dollar water and sewer infrastructure.

SaaS Platform Strategy

Created the overall product vision and execution plan to combine Innovyze capability into a single SaaS platform.

As VP of product management, l developed the overall product vision for Innovyze to maintain enterprise capability for technical specialists in combination with a SaaS solution targeting a wide range of user personas that can benefit from Innovzye capability.

I led the PM team to win approval from the board of directors to expand development resources by 25% to combine select capabilities of five distinct product lines to solve complex utility management problems.

This combined capability places Innovyze at the center of a digital transformation that will shape the water utility industry over the next five years.
