SaaS Platform to Digitize and Automate Processes and Workflows

Co-founded and led the product vision, management, releases to market, and sales to customers; raised funding and hired a team of software developers, designers, customer success, sales, and marketing team members.

The project was a SaaS platform for a startup that built digital services and workflows, including forms, documents, electronic signatures, payments, appointments, and other features to help digitize and automate processes without using code. I served as the first product manager and product owner, then was promoted to the lead of growth strategy and sales and product marketing.

Collaborated with the marketing and design teams to design and build the company's website using no-code tools in four weeks.

Cívica Digital's company website helped the growth team (sales and marketing) with lead generation, content marketing, and sales. The website was previously built using a static site generator, Middleman, and hosted on GitHub Pages, making it difficult for the marketing team to update the site. I led the migration of the website to Webflow, using Google Docs, Notion, and Figma to complete the product workflow. It helped not having to involve the engineering team and, in return, saved time and resources for the company.

AI Chatbots for Public Services

Led the product design and development for a chatbot engine software from the URBEM platform by Cívica Digital, launched it to market, and onboarded customers. Implemented go-to-market strategy, including pricing, branding, and sales.

The product's main goal was to automate citizen support to access public service information directly from the chat. The chatbot engine was designed for the Facebook Messenger Platform. When first released, Facebook Messenger Platform developers' API helped adapt the conversational UX design depending on each customer and use-case flows. We also developed training models and applications to improve the chatbots' natural language understanding (NLU) using natural language processing (NLP) from cloud services APIs. I hired and collaborated with software engineers, UI designers, and data scientists to launch the product features alongside the commercial team for sales and marketing.

Open Innovation Platform

Led the design and software development of a digital platform that facilitates open collaboration between government, NGOs, and the technology community to build solutions.

Developed the first versions of the web application and deployed it to cloud services. The public and private sectors can use it to publish open challenges and receive collaboration from the software developer and designer community that volunteered to create digital solutions for the public good. The platform was made open-source, and the federal government adopted it as a digital strategy to increase civic-minded entrepreneurship and improve public services.
