    • Managed the day-to-day operations of Post-Haste FMS (a freight manager providing consulting, broker services, and managed solutions to the Australian freight industry).

    • Envisioned, sourced, and project managed Myfreight V1.
    • Envisioned, sourced, financed, and product owner for Myfreight V2.
    • Oversaw marketing, sales, operations, and finance management.

Project History

  • Swinburne University and Passel
    Oversaw the project from the initial meetings to university endorsement and co-funding, team management, and delivery.

    Passel partnered with Swinburne, the world’s first crowdsourced delivery company, to develop advanced algorithms that will improve the company’s unique delivery service model.

    Passel was one of six companies awarded funding from the Irish government to pilot in Dublin and Belfast.

  • Myfreight Version 1 (2008 to 2012)
    Pioneered an integrated freight management business model in Australia.

    Before 2008, freight management IT systems, freight brokers, freight senders, and freight companies all operated independently of one another.

    System integration was challenging and fragmented.

    I led the team at Poste-Haste, in integrating an existing web-based solution (Moveit) into a separate invoicing system (Translogix), and released the solution under the Myfreight banner.

    This allowed freight senders to make better decisions, freight companies to receive better quality data, and Poste-Haste to bill quicker and with greater accuracy.

  • Myfreight Version 2 (2010 to 2014)
    Led the team that imagined, created, and deployed the market-leading freight management system, Myfreight.

    Myfreight was a multiyear project. I served as the product owner and helped guide the needs of hundreds of freight senders, transport companies, and managers at all levels. I also supported the creation of a brand new freight management system that is now available worldwide.

    This project also required hiring developers and contracting a company to build software.

    I completed a comprehensive Agile project that revolutionized how human decision-makers and corporate ERPs managed outbound logistics.

    The Myfreight project included a rules engine for delivery predictions and integration with Domo.

    Myfreight was very successful—to the extent, the decision was made to rebrand Poste-Haste as Myfreight.

    I remained with Myfreight until 2016, when I left to seek new challenges.
