Project History

eCommerce and Self-serve Website for F2G Prepaid Telephony Brand

http://www.f2g.gr

Led the design, development, and launch of the first eCommerce and self-serve website for Wind Telecommunications (Greece), targeting the F2G prepaid telephony brand, a flanker brand for the youth segment with over a million subscribers.

F2G, the flagship flanker brand for the youth segment of Wind Telecommunications (Greece), was chosen by the CEO to be the company's first consumer proposition to offer digital self-serve and eCommerce capabilities to its customer base of more than one million subscribers.

As the head of digital self-serve for the online marketing and service department, I managed the project and carried out the following tasks:
• Documented the requirements and drafted the structure of the site, online functionalities and services, user interaction flow, and UI elements.
• Managed the two partners that implemented the eCommerce and self-serve capabilities.
-Provided access for the partners through a dynamic website to deliver the front-end UI, online functionalities, and real-time integration with back-end systems and network elements.
• Led quality assurance and the launch campaign.

The functionalities offered through the F2G website for registered users included:
• Account information
• Management of bundles, promos, and loyalty schemes
• Online customer support
• eCommerce, including buy-online connection/device packs, online top-up, and payments.
• F2G app download

Tele-operated Driving for 5G Automotive Association

https://5gaa.org/news/tele-operated-driving-tod-business-considerations/

Created a business analysis framework for tele-operated driving (ToD) used in 5GAA's cross-workgroup on use cases for business models and go-to-market strategies.

The ToD work item aimed to describe the requirements and framework needed for remote vehicle operation. The intention was to study a use case and scenario definition, technical design, and business considerations. This task aspired to identify the elements to consider for the deployment of a ToD ecosystem from a business perspective.

I drafted three chapters for the report:

1. Stakeholder overview, distinguishing between a functional classification and identification of the actual entities.

2. Go-to-market constraints, questions to facilitate those working on business models in the ToD domain by acting as inspiration for all the elements they could tackle in their business model definition.

3. Business Models, providing analysis per ToD use case and scenario in terms of value networks, value creation and capture mechanisms, go-to-market strategies, and pricing considerations.

I also drafted the chapters on go-to-market considerations in the resulting white paper, Tele-operated Driving Use Cases, System Architecture and Business Considerations, that described the technical and business framework and a visionary roadmap for ToD.

Business Aspects & Requirements of 5G Network Slicing

https://5gaa.org/news/business-aspects-and-requirements-of-5g-network-slicing-barns-report/

Created the business analysis framework for 5GAA to analyze three use cases for 5G network slicing.

Network slicing is a key feature of 5G to support the needs of different verticals, such as the automotive industry. The network slicing concept refers to running multiple logical networks that could be customized and provided with guaranteed SLAs as virtually independent business operations on common physical infrastructure.

The purpose of this work item was twofold:

1. Define and analyze the automotive use case requirements in terms of the quality of service provided using network slicing.

2. Identify the specific features required to support the automotive use cases.

I focused on three use cases studied in this work item:
1. Software Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates
2. Tele-operated driving
3. High-density truck platooning

I created a business analysis framework to study the use cases in terms of the following:
• Business value of network slicing.
• Potential business roles that may exist or emerge in 5G.
• Adoption drivers, opportunity size, business models, go-to-market strategies, pricing schemes, and value proposition for the performance and functional features of the use cases.
• Mapping of business requirements and models with relevant technical solutions.
