Project History

  • TiVo DIRECTV HD Dual Tuner DVR
    Launched the first HD dual tuner TiVo DVR in partnership with DIRECTV.

    I managed a cross-functional team of over 25 people including, software, hardware, testing, operations, usability, UI design, product, marketing, customer support and partner relations to ensure the delivery of the first TiVo high definition dual tuner DVR on schedule and per product and client requirements.

  • Transition of the Development Team into Using Agile and Scrum
    Successfully moved the development teams to using Scrum which improved their productivity.

    As an agile coach and scrum master, I successfully transitioned a team of 15 developers into using Scrum and sprints. Once the team became comfortable with the new process and their roles in it, they were able to increase productivity and accurately estimate the number of sprints required to complete upcoming releases.

    Cross-functional teams had greater visibility into their progress and hand-offs between teams became seamless.

  • Jira Migration from Trello
    Executed a smooth transition from Trello to Jira with no downtime to the organization.

    I set up the Jira cloud instance, created multiple customized workflows, set up projects, permissions, and security schemes, and trained the organization on how to use Jira. I also migrated thousands of tickets from Trello to appropriate Jira projects with no issues and zero downtime for the development teams.
