Pushkar is a UI/UX design lead with a focus on VR and AR digital experiences. He recently worked on Doom3VR, released on PSVR in 2021. Pushkar has years of design and advertising experience in some of the world’s leading design studios and ad agencies. Pushkar is currently working at a world-leading VR and AR gaming studio. His goal is to create the most immersive user experiences in virtual and augmented reality. He also teaches data visualization and human-centered design at a VRAR program.

  • UX/UI Designer on Doom3VR | UX/UI Designer for VR/AR Games and Business Solutions

    2018 - PRESENT
    • Worked on a UX/UI for Doom3 for PSVR, set to release on 29th March 2021 and which may be viewed at https://youtu.be/UgrBa7Xzv_o.
    • Designed the UX for VR and AR for business solutions, including creating the wireframes, personas, and user journeys to help developers, designers, and stakeholders align on the product vision.
    • Crafted the user interface and visual design for a seamless experience. This included rapid prototyping, designing the user interactions, implementing them in Unity3D, and iterating and validating the designs by user testing.
    • User-researched and collected player feedback and prioritized tasks for developers to complete the UX feedback loop. Conducted various types of user research including UX flow, persona, and competition.
    • Designed the UX for VR and AR for game development.

    • Shipped successful VR games on Oculus store "Slots in deNile," Ocul.us/39f5HTK, and "Deep Space Battle VR."

  • VR AR Human Centered Design and Data Visualization Instructor

    Vancouver Film School, VR/AR Department and Digital Design Department
    • Taught Data Visualization, Human-centered Design (HCD), and portfolio development courses in the AR/VR development program (Vfs.edu/programs/vrar).
    • Taught an HCD course focused on understanding the user and designing a product that will best suit their needs. Provided a foundation for creating experiences that focus on the user’s needs, goals, and behaviors.
    • Created "Data visualization for the VR/AR course" from scratch. Worked on the course where students learn how to access data sets and transform them into a visualized and interactive VR/AR experiences.
    • Held a "Portfolio building workshop," guiding students and recent graduates; took a user-centered design approach to portfolios to get an interview in the digital design industry.
    • Taught a "Persuasive Design Elective Course for Digital Design" that teaches game design principles to help students create habit-forming and persuasive design products.
