I tackled a big project at Sleek, combining our Hong Kong and Singapore websites into one central site. The main challenge was to do this without affecting search engine rankings or losing visitors. I started by examining both websites to determine what content was important and which pages were popular. I carefully mapped out all the content to help guide visitors and search engines from the old sites to the new ones without any confusion. To accomplish this, I used 301 redirects and kept the website content consistent and optimized for search engines to ensure our rankings stayed strong. I coordinated closely with the developer to fix any problems quickly and kept everyone updated on the progress.

After launching sleek.com, I monitored the traffic and search rankings closely, making necessary adjustments to keep everything running smoothly. The result was a much better-performing website that grew quickly in both Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as in the newly established markets in the UK and Australia.

In 2021, I helped the owner of projectmanagement.ie resolve a serious issue with their hacked website. The hack caused tens of thousands of fake URLs to appear in search results, leading to the site’s loss of rankings and targeted organic traffic. Traffic dropped by 40%, and Google flagged the site as dangerous.

I identified and removed the fake URLs through Google Search Console to tackle this. In addition, due to the scale of the attack, I had to go back multiple times to remove URLs, ensuring that the search results were continuously being cleaned up. I also updated files to block any suspicious traffic and prevent further exploitation. Additionally, I revised the robots.txt file to ensure that search engines only indexed legitimate content.

Throughout the process, I informed the site owner of our progress and next steps. After about two months of diligent work, we eliminated all hacked URLs from the search results. The website’s traffic and keyword rankings gradually returned to normal, and the Google flag was lifted.

I created an SEO strategy for Mold Busters that boosted their organic traffic by 40% and increased revenue by 135% in just six months. The main focus of my plan was to do a deep dive into competitor research and perform a thorough audit of the Mold Busters’ website to find any missed opportunities and quick wins. This way, I could identify areas where the company could improve and stand out. I then carefully reviewed the website to find gaps in content and technical issues that we could fix to improve performance. This approach allowed us to optimize existing content and create new, high-quality output focused on important service keywords.

I also improved the website’s structure and built high-quality backlinks to increase the site’s authority. Within four months, we achieved the highest ranking for all our primary service keywords in Google Search and Google Maps, dramatically increasing our visibility and bringing in more inquiries and conversions.
